Photo above: Dr. Knoll had the privilege of testifying in Washington D.C. on behalf of NAIFA in regards to the proposed Department of Labor Fiduciary Rule.
Dr. Knoll hosts several events a year in appreciation for her outstanding staff. These wonderful ladies have earned some fun time! The activities have included a canvas painting night presented by The Paint Shack, a Wine and Stella and Dot Jewelry event, Limo bus escorted shopping excursions, and several nice dinners at local restaurants. As a team, they have also been to Cancun and New Orleans.
Our doctors recently were honored when the American Dental Association selected them to be interviewed for a marketing campaign for the ADAPT program. A film crew was at the office for 5 hours talking to the doctors and staff. We are excited to be a part of this national program!
Our kid’s reception area gives our youngest patients a place to express their creativity or watch a movie while they wait for appointments. After checking in at our main desk, our younger visitors can hang out in a room equipped just for them with extra books, an art table, and an assortment of toys. There is comfortable seating for parents too, if they wish to sit with younger siblings while other family members are having their dental appointments completed.
We Recycle! Even though we are as “paperless” as possible, daily operations of a business can create a lot of waste. We recycle paper, cardboard, and plastics that end up in our office. We also reduce our impact on the environment by using digital x-rays, cutting out the need for disposal of chemicals and film. And finally, we recycle all amalgam waste and have installed an amalgam waste separator that collects and filters waste material during your appointment so that it does not end up in our public sewer system. We also participate in a TerraCycle recycling program and will take your old toothbrushes for recycling.
Catch the Sparta Dental Center ladies around town participating in community events such as the SACS walk, Butterfest events, and helping decorate wreathes for the Rotary Lights in the Park. We were the proud recipients of the 2014 Holiday Parade Rudolph award, working with Brookside Clydesdales. We have also donated to a variety of local sporting events, the dance team, fundraisers, and the local animal shelter.

Did you know that Sparta Dental Center hands out over 5000 toothbrushes a year!? That’s a lot of plastic that ends up in our local landfill. But we have a solution! We are using TerraCycle to recycle manual toothbrushes. Just bring in your old toothbrush to your dental visit and drop in in the recycling bin. When the bin is full, we will ship it to TerraCycle, where the plastic will be melted down and upcycled.
