At Sparta Dental we are constantly improving by implementing new systems for sending e-prescriptions for our patients. Also, we are purchasing iPads for more efficient collection of health histories, less wasted paper and the ability to set up in-office payments.
Dr. Knoll and Dr. Morgan use intraoral cameras at their office to help identify problem areas. Only slightly larger than a pen, this wandlike camera is able to fit in the hardest-to-reach areas of your mouth finding hidden fractures, broken fillings, and other troubles. The digital images are able to be put on a screen immediately, aiding in co-diagnosis and a better understanding of the treatment you need.
Digital x-rays cut down your time in the dentist’s chair and decrease your exposure to radiation by 90 percent! The color-enhanced images can be enlarged and manipulated to give our doctors a better picture of what is happening in your mouth.
Epic X is our most up-to-date and enhanced everyday diode laser. We are able to offer several painless dental hygiene procedures to reduce bacteria levels. Our office has several brand new pieces of sterilization equipment that are monitored and tested weekly by an outside company. We also use DentaPure Water Filters in all of our treatment rooms and consistently exceed EPA standards for waterline saftey.
Our PaX-i3D machine gives our doctors the ability to diagnose off of a 3 dimensional image. Being aware of vital nerves, blood vessels, and sinus location allows Dr. Knoll and Dr. Morgan to precision plan implant surgery in the safest way possible. This machine also has the capability to take traditional 2D digital images with less exposure to radiation, and for our patients with a strong gag reflex, it has a feature allowing us to take cavity detecting x-rays without placing sensors inside the mouth.
